RNO 134 (=Bernes 27) is a small reflection nebula in the constellation
Cygnus, which is embedded in a region with many dark nebulae. It shows a
red-brownish colour and was therefore included in the RNO catalogue (Red and
nebulous objects in dark clouds, published by Cohen in 1979). To the east of RNO 134 there is another reflection nebula: GN 21.21.0 (= Bernes 28). A third, not catalogued reflection nebula with a yellow-brown colour can be found to the south of the blue reflection nebula GN 21.21.0. |
