Notes: Gum 10 is the big emission nebula in the centre of the above image. Gum 11 and NGC 2579 are two further emission nebulae in this region. Many small reflection nebulae are visible in Gum 10: vdBH 8, vdBH 9a, vdBH 9b, BRAN 124, BRAN 126 and GN 08.16.6.
