Notes: | Holmberg II (=UGC4305) is an irregular dwarf
galaxy, which is a member of the M81 group of galaxies. It shows several
bright HII regions and many blue stellar complexes, which are a sign of star
forming. The object identification image shows the very distant galaxy cluster J0819+7054 near the top border of the image. The light of this galaxy cluster needs 2.6 billion years to reach earth. |
