Notes: NGC6802 is an open star cluster, east of the much bigger star cluster Collinder 399 (The Coat Hanger). The eastern half of the Coat Hanger is visible on the right side in the above image.

The golden-yellow color of NGC6802 is a consequence of the reddening of the star light by dust: E(B-V) = 0.85 mag.
