Notes: The Veil Nebula is a large supernova remnant in the constellation Cygnus. It consists of different parts with different object names. The western part of the Veil Nebula is called NGC 6960. NGC 6960 can be found near the centre of the above image. To the west of NGC 6960 is an extensive dark nebula.
